Wroclaw Medical University
The University Clinical Trials Support Centre and Early Phase Trials Centre in Wrocław was opened on 1 June 2022. The University is a general higher education facility that offers comprehensive academic support in clinical trial planning, coordination, and management. The CTSC’s main purpose is to facilitate, intensify and improve the quality of clinical research activities at the University. The CTSC operates in accordance with standardised operating processes for conducting, managing, billing, supervising and coordinating clinical trials. Implementing uniform quality and support systems will allow new research projects to be initiated, directly contributing to better patient safety and the facility’s improved research potential.
Principal advantages:
- Since 2010, University Clinical Hospital in Wroclaw has been involved in 287 clinical trials, including 15 non-commercial ones.
- Capacity to perform trials of all phases (1 through 4), in both commercial and non-commercial setting, in cooperation with University Clinical Hospital.
- Own Early Phase Centre.
- Close cooperation between researchers and practitioners.
