He has wide experience in research and development in biotechnology and extensive contacts with international scientific bodies and healthcare management institutions. His areas of interest include first of all innovative technologies, trial management and commercialisation.

Education:

A graduate from the First Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw. In June 2018 he took a doctor's degree in the Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw, on the basis of his doctoral thesis titled "Single-Centre Results of the Multi-Centre Electrical Storm Registry RECOVERY". In 2019 he obtained the title Master of Business in Medicine at the Lazarski University in Warsaw. He is an author of scientific and popular science publications as well as presentations delivered on international medical congresses in the field of cardiology, telemedicine and healthcare organisation.

Professional career:

Radosław Sierpiński worked in the Clinic of Arrhythmias at the Institute of Cardiology and also in private healthcare facilities, as a physician and medical director. Between 2018 and 2019 he was an advisor of prof. Łukasz Szumowski, the Minister of Health. He cooperated with the Foundation and Association for the Patients with Arrhythmias - A Heart for Arrhythmia.

A member of the Board of the National Centre for Research and Development, representing the Minister of Health, and of various teams of experts working for Minister of Health and the Minister of Science and Higher Education. President of the Social Council of the Silesian Centre for Heart Diseases in Zabrze and Vice-President of the Social Council of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Branch of the National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia - NFZ).

A member of an expert group in the area of clinical research of the European Commission.

A Polish representative in the group Mission Cancer of the European Commission.

Private life:

Married, a father of two.
