National Oncology Institute of Maria Sklodowska-Curie – National Research Institute (branch in Gliwice) is a leader in oncology on a national and European scale. Its state-of-the-art apparatus and highly trained staff provide Polish patients with comprehensive world-class treatment. Establishing a Clinical Trials Support Centre at the Institute, which will operate in a joint service model using a uniform organisational structure, modernised premises, standardised IT systems and defined operating procedures for managing commercial and non-commercial clinical research, will ensure comprehensive clinical trial performance meeting the highest world standards.
Principal advantages:
- In the past 15 years, the Gliwice branch of NOI NRI performed over 120 clinical trials of phases 1b to 4.
- Each year, the Institute treats around 45,500 patients, giving over 206,000 consultations.
- Many years of experience in implementing research projects financed from public funds, e.g. from the National Science Centre, the National Centre for Research and Development, the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the European Union.
