Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw

Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw is a reference site for cardiology and cardiac surgery and for many years now has been at the forefront of cardiac medicine in Poland. The establishment of a CTSC within the structures of Institute of Cardiology on 11 January 2022, besides ensuring a systematised infrastructure, organisational structure, and IT systems, has also implemented a clear operational setting in the form of standard operating procedures (SOPs) which align and regulate the processes associated with clinical trials. All this has made it possible to create a favourable environment for investigators, who can initiate and carry out their own research. Since August 2019, Institute of Cardiology has been a Scientific Partner of the international intergovernmental non-profit organisation ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network).  The European Correspondent at the Centre provides advisory services to both sponsors and investigators. With the wide range of service provided, the Institute is able to efficiently manage international clinical trials and overcome any obstacles in implementing them.

Institute of Cardiology motto: “It is not enough to approach a patient with expertise, experience, care and conscientiousness. You must give them your heart!
