Medical Research Agency has received the "Portraits of Polish Medicine" award in the category Event of the Year!

- The 2020 Portraits of Polish Medicaid were awarded in exceptional circumstances. At this special time, with all the more pride and respect we could distinguish and appreciate the best doctors, managers, solutions and facilities - said Wojciech Kuta, editor-in-chief of the Rynek Zdrowia magazine and portal.

The Medical Research Agency, which has been in operation since April 2019, has in a short period of time become an institution very efficient in awarding funds for the development of research in medical sciences through competitions. ABM also quickly and effectively addressed the challenges of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The total value of ABM's co-funding of 33 projects under the first competition for the implementation of non-commercial clinical trials is nearly PLN 463 million. Whereas 16 projects in the first round of the competition for research and development activity in the scope of non-commercial clinical trials were co-financed with the total amount of over PLN 182 million. The Agency has supported more than 20 COVID-19 projects with a total value of nearly PLN 60 million. "Portraits of Polish Medicine" plebiscite accompanied XVI Health Market Forum.
